The project stems from the need to recover an abandoned space near the Ostiense FS railway station. After a thorough study of the building shell’s energetic characteristics we proceeded with structural, architectural and technical installation re-qualification. The goal of inserting a management center within spaces created to accommodate passenger flows is reached by opening light wells and integrating glass inserts aiming to increase space luminosity and well-being. Visible technical installations and post-industrial finishes characterize the interior spaces while the shell remains unchanged.
