La SIA is Mare Group's brand dedicated to advanced infrastructure and building design. The team brings together architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, and specialists in mechanical, electrical and telecommunications engineering. Its design approach integrates BIM, Digital Twins and sustainable architecture across highly complex projects in the telecommunications, data centre, cultural heritage, energy efficiency and commercial building sectors.
La SIA’s history began in 2004 as an engineering company specialising in telecommunications. Over the following twenty years, it expanded its expertise in the design of critical infrastructure, culminating in its acquisition by Mare Group in 2025 and its subsequent merger by incorporation.
La SIA expands beyond telecommunications, adding electrical and mechanical engineering to its areas of expertise. The Engineering Division is established, operating across the Telco, Mobility Infrastructure, Energy and Civil & Design sectors.
Mare Group, an Italian high-tech engineering company listed on Euronext Growth Milan, acquires 100% of La SIA's share capital. La SIA is subsequently merged by incorporation into Mare Group, while continuing its activities under the La SIA brand, preserving its expertise and experience.
Having grown up professionally in the international reality of Ericsson Telecomunicazioni SpA, they embarked on the road to entrepreneurship in 2004, structuring the company La SIA SpA as a dynamic and enterprising reality. Maurizio Ciardi, Mario Rampini and Riccardo Sacconi combine their specific peculiarities to create in a short time an international reality in the world of architecture and engineering.Over the years they pass on their wealth of skills and experience to collaborators and employees, defining higher and higher quality and experiential standards within the company.
