The Energy & Infrastructure Business Unit specializes in project management, design, and construction management of critical infrastructure related to energy, water, and horizontal infrastructure, such as road and rail systems, with a focus on digital technologies and energy efficiency. Our goal is to provide sustainable solutions that respect the environment and improve the quality of life.
The BU’s main activities include design of MV systems, upgrading of industrial systems, revamping of FTV systems, energy efficiency analysis, and design of complex systems and automation. We also handle Construction Supervision and Safety for the construction of Medium Voltage power grids for operators such as national Multiutilities. The use of dedicated design tools enables us to provide standardized designs in the production of high-power switchboards and in monitoring and control systems on electrical supply cycles.
In the field of roadways, we are able to survey, design and monitor the cycle of roadway upgrading and development, also dealing with the upgrading and monitoring of safety and noise barriers.
We constantly invest in training resources, acquiring young talent and adopting new advanced technologies to ensure maximum accuracy and reliability at every stage of the project. We use state-of-the-art tools such as laser scanners, drones, and LIDAR to survey, design, and monitor infrastructure. The use of LIDARs mounted on ground or airborne vehicles allows us to collect data quickly and accurately, which are then returned in navigable maps and Digital Twin useful for the management, organization, conservation, design and enhancement of the target environment.
The use of BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes in MEP and infrastructure design allows us to manage all phases of a project, from design to construction to maintenance, in an integrated way. This approach allows us to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve the quality of our services by providing the end client with a design that also integrates the subsequent phases of construction and maintenance of the works.
We offer comprehensive design services for new infrastructure and renewable energy plants. We can provide E2E projects for the development of photovoltaic and agrivoltaic systems, integrating the latest AI technologies and software to determine the types of FTV field developments, maximizing the efficiency and sustainability of investments, reducing environmental impact, and promoting the use of clean energy.
