The project, called “SPRINT – Intelligent Networks Design System,” aims to develop a system for the design and management of intelligent microgrids, including electric generation and storage systems, and decision support systems based on energy efficiency and Demand Response logic for buildings. SPRINT will consist of a modular and proactive Cloud-based ICT tool based on a multi-objective optimization algorithm combined with Life Cycle Assesment methodologies. that will enable end users to establish a virtuous circle of savings and investment aimed at continuous energy efficiency.
