The projects illustrated concern the countermeasures planned to raise the physical security standards of the sites of Leonardo S.p.A., an international industrial group active in the Aerospace, Defense and Security sectors. Such sites are of strategic importance because of the information contained within them and require specific design attention.
The design proposals include area access control systems, outdoor and indoor intrusion detection systems, and video surveillance systems. In addition to these facilities, a networking network subservient exclusively to the security systems was planned to convey camera video streams, alarms and reports from the various subsystems to the control platform.
