On the occasion of the Jubilee 2025, our firm supervised the executive project for the regeneration of the Elderly Social Center “Liliana Toti,” located in Rome’s Municipality XI. The intervention stems from the need to restore dignity, functionality and social value to a historic structure in a state of severe degradation, transforming it into an inclusive and welcoming place, accessible to all and with a focus on intergenerational dialogue.
The main objective is the creation of a living space, designed as a crossroads of opportunities and services for the community, capable of promoting sociality, peer education and inclusion, including through the active involvement of new generations.

The building, dating from the 1940s, is on one floor and currently features:
The new interior configuration is designed to create one harmonious, level-free, accessible and highly functional environment. The project includes the complete renovation and re-functionalization of the rooms, which are divided into:
–Recreation room: the beating heart of the center, a multipurpose space for aggregative, cultural and sports activities.
A new accessible toilet block, including a disabled toilet, was designed to support these environments.

Structurally, the building underwent a comprehensive intervention to improve its seismic safety, which included:
Particular attention was given to upgrading the façade on Via Seravezza, with the insertion of dark metal slats on the main entrances, to improve urban perception and visual accessibility of the center.
